via VG247.The snippets of shiny new gameplay footage in this Star Wars 1313 trailer may not be indistinguishable from reality, but they are indistinguishable from really awesome Star Wars action.
LucasArts is yet to announce platform or release window information for Star Wars 1313, leading some to suspect it may be an early release for next-generation consoles. The third-person action game was revealed at E3 2012 but we really know very little about it so far.
The video below comes courtesy of IGN.
The game is using a heavily-modified build of Unreal Engine 3. Very impressive.

We might just be looking at the PC version. I would think that the developers would be using Unreal Engine 4 if it were indeed a next-gen title.

At e3 the game was running on a high end pc.. I wonder if this is coming to consoles. I prefer to play on pc tho!

I really want to know if it looks like this "real time" on PC for sure. Some of it is just too good for me to believe- like the fire and explosion effects on that ship.

I have my doubts. "Fire" effects are one of those illusive goals of video game tech. Kind of the same with smoke..
I mean the framerate in those videos is perfect, the fire and explosions are so good its almost CG quality. I just can't afford to let myself have unrealistic expectations for this title just to be let down when I get it on PC.
