i saw this a couple weeks ago via wimp. BLEW MY MIND. Actually seeing light in action is incredible. I can't way to see how they advance this technology. Think of the future, when we could send thousands of beems out per second and process all that information to be put on a screen? Real time looking around corners? X-ray Vision? this technology is awesome.

Somebody get me a doctor, I ain't feelin' ill ...But I ain't feelin' this at all...

Very impressive, imagine in the future a camera with 1/1,000,000,000,000 shutter speed and 1,000 mp.
A photo so big that you can zoom in on the texture of a face, then zoom in again and see the strands it is made of.Last edited by mickice; 08-16-2012 at 00:49.

Actually the video is not from single event, so it cannot be described as n/fps camera.
This method has very fast shutter camera and huge amount of repeatable events, where it shoots new image with each new event with a slightly different time offset from start of an event.
We already have cameras which can see behind corners by using diffuse reflection.
