MS didnt need to show up but Sony definitely did because of the struggling Vita platform. Gamescom was mostly about Vita. MS isnt concerned about what Sony is doing in the portable space. Sony used Gamescom to counter the bad Vita press and hopefully generate more interest. As for consoles MS already has a great xmas lineup for the hardcore gamer while Sony is just bringing kiddie games on the exclusive front. Maybe its Sony that should be embarrassed this xmas. And they propably will be when the xmas sales numbers roll in.

For sure, looking forward to Dust 514 especially. The latest patch has linked it with the EVE universe meaning airstrikes can be called in from EVE players. They also added full mouse and keyboard support.

People forget that Dust 514 is coming out and is looking to be a free AAA FPS MMO releasing this year.

PSABR is the other gem for me this holiday. I don't get how this one gets thrown under the kiddy category lol. I mean Kratos, Big Daddy, Col Radec and Dante come from R18 games. The game is a love letter to PlayStation gamers more than a casual title...Well, whatever. lol It#s going to be a good holiday season for all.

None of them are guaranteed to be good games.
You all need to temper your expectations a little I think. Lots of games get talked up, but fail to excite, on both sides of the fence.

It could be the biggest pile of crap ever, but it will still sell a tonne. Everything else from everyone else is up in the air.

If you look at he entire market there is 3, Black Ops and the other being AC3.

Well you've insulted me numerous times in the past by calling me a "flip flopper" so obviously I'm going to interpret your comment this time the same way. Your post definitely sounded like a personal attack and I still think it was but now youre trying to backpedal. But whatever. I enjoy both consoles equally for different reasons but it just so happens that I dont like Sony's exclusive lineup this Fall. Just not my cup of tea. And like I've said already next year is a whole different story. For me this Fall 360 has the exclusives that I want and next year PS3 has 3 exclusives that I want and 360 only has one. 3rd party games are usually on my 360 but not always so there might be 3rd party games like AC I would get on PS3 depending on what the exclusive content is.

I think you get encouraged by both sides which may give the wrong impression to some and Thats why you get the comments like that
See you ain't someone like F34R, whos a multiplatform owner that enjoys both consoles and has a solidified opinion about both, you can praise a Playstation game and in a few weeka time be praising a Xbox game while saying the game you praised before is not that impressive which is brought on by other members encouraging you, which sometimes tarnishs ya opinion, hence the flip flopping comment.

I'll have to look up Luke Smith. lol But yeah I do get encouraged by both sides. And sometimes I get annoyed by what one company does so I'll rail on them and kind of side with the other and then it goes the the other way around. And then other times they both make me very happy as a gamer (and thats most of the time). And yeah tbh personally I do like ya too TGO even if we do go round and round sometimes. lol
