Does anyone else here love Animal Crossing? I sure do. Something about hanging out in a town filling with all types of animals makes me feel relaxed... Hanging at the coffee shop...fishing in the stream...talking to an angry mole because you didn't save... I especially like the DS version - Wild World.

I love Animal Crossing and the 3DS version is one of my most anticipated games coming out in the near future.
I played the hell out of Wild World. My GF also loves it.

I would be exited for the 3DS version, but I do not have a 3DS...

I heard a while back that Animal Crossing can be addicting.
I've never played the games though. What are they like, exactly?Steam & PlayStation Network: BlacksitePSU | 3DS Friend Code: 1349-4916-2054

Well basically, you move into a town full of animals and you have no money. The shopkeeper gives you a house with a mortgage to pay off. You basically are trying to earn enough money by fishing, bug catching, fossil digging, and general selling of items (there are multiple mortgages to pay off). As you pay off your mortgages, your house gets bigger, and you can decorate it how you please with items that you purchase at the store. I think the atmosphere of the town is what is most addicting for me...

The only one I have played so far is the Gamecube version. I enjoyed it a lot more than expected and the only reason I haven't played another one is because I didn't own a Wii or DS. I will likely get the 3DS version. Fantasy Life also looks good if it is released in the US.
If I end up deciding on buying a WiiU I will probably get the eventual WiiU version. The only problem is that I don't know anyone else that enjoys these type of games and I am the only one among all of my friends that have been even remotely interested in the WiiU. As a result I have been leaning towards a Surface Tablet(if not too expensive) or iPad Mini(if real).

Cool. Yeah, I'm probably not going to get the WiiU, but I hope to get a 3DS at some point in time.

You know you are an Animal Crossing geek when you watch the trailer, and are exited that it looks like you can put items on walls and go swimming...
