    Sorry, it's not. First, they aren't tracking the GPS transceiver. Second, the signal is being broadcast into the public, there isn't any privacy involved in that at all. If they can track a broadcasted signal, there isn't any invasion of privacy involved in that.

    The only way a phone can be tracked is through the signal it gives via its transceiver. Any way you look at it. the phone is used.
