I can't say I'm completely against abortion or for it because quite frankly, life doesn't work in absolutes. I do know that a life is a life is a life. With that said, in the rare instance that an unborn cause undue distress to the mother-to-be an abortion is acceptable. Rape is not one of those instances. What I'm referring to is when an unborn's issues is in danger of killing the mother-to-be. In the rare instance that it does, abortion is a viable option only in that the loss of one life is better than the loss of two. I know it's not what many want to hear or read but it is what it is.

That sounds to be the worst school teacher in the history of the world. That is pretty much encouraging sex before the age of 18. If I had received something like that during school, that teacher would have been out of a job within the week. Its just asking for problems, if a kid is in 7th grade, the chances of them making a mistake, or not using the condom is very high.

I was home-schooled, but during the time I did attend school, it wasn't much brought up. My mother used to say how they would teach abstinence during school, encouraging no sex until marriage. And most I know from her generation did just that.

Being home schooled explains alot, you live in a bubble and not the real world.

In the real world (Australia) sex ed starts in grade 6 which for us is the last year of primary school before high school, these kids are like 11yo. With proper teaching and informed children better life choices can be made. Unlike your bubble world some of us can't cope with giving birth just because we have fallen pregnant, even with the use of protection, for some of us if we don't turn up at work tomorrow we don't get paid.

If that high school girl had been handed a condom, been more informed of her options she wouldn't have been stuck trying to flush a baby down the toilet.

Telling someone to not have sex untill a certain time will NEVER work. We all mature differently and women earlier than men, once those periods start coming so do the sexual urges.

Because everybody is different mate. Opportunities. Some of the people I worked at Harrow school with could have a baby now and they would be ok in life. However some of the people I went to school with of they got pregnant life essentially over.
