imo if someone was accidently knocked up or isn't ready for a child it's okay to get an abortion in the early stages. and it would be pretty cruel to have an unwanted child then struggle to make payments, have comfortable shelter, food etc.

tbh i facepalm whenever i hear the word 'god' during topics like these but that's just me

You could say its killing a life, but sometimes you can't provide the life a child requires. If you go further, you could also suggest that all sperm is sacred and a life too...

Responsible enough to have recreational sex? Responsible enough for dealing with the possible outcomes. I don't care for all that "at this early stage it's not even a living organism" bullshit. Each and every one of us here was once this little tiny little "lifeless" growth in a woman's tummy and each of us were born to be totally unique people with our own character and appearance that makes us totally unique. If some terminator went back in time and persuaded your mothers to get an abortion, think about how all of the positive influence that you have had on the lives of the people you love, know and have met in your life, and how that would never have happened. Some people don't care, but I see abortion as the ultimate waste of potential. I guess it's easier to justify abortion when you think of this little, characterless egg and not the person that it was inevitably destined to become through the course of normal conception...

Humans don't need sex to survive (not speaking as a species ), they have sex either to have children or for sexual pleasure. If you choose to use it for sexual pleasure, you best be prepared for the possible implications. This is just my philosophical view on it, that's all.

Abortion is fine if the situation calls for it. Mistakes happen, and sometimes it is best to abort. If this was a perfect world then I would be totally against it. But the world sucks ass and if someone chooses to spare their child the missery of this shit planet then have at it.

The ONLY time I could except it is if the woman was raped...

Any other time no I wouldn't be ok with it. In america they have clinics that will give you contraceptives for FREE so no excuse for that shit. If ur going to have sex be responsible I always am.

Sometimes the decision to have the abortion is the correct decision. Nobody has the right to determine whether someone elses choice is the wrong choice.

I have 3 daughters, if either one of them were to get pregnant before the age of 18, I am making sure they get an abortion.

Why are we having a poll on this, we have only an opinion. No actually power to change things to favor women as a whole, why not ask a woman about this. Be a man about, since we can not get into a womans mind and tell what she is thinking. Plus you have to take in the affects this has on the families that either support or are against this. Do they brace this or disown their daughter, mother, sister or friend for making a decision that changes everything and everyone especially the lady that choose to carry out or refuse the adortion option

I think it's fucked up regardless your taking away a life before it even has a chance of you can't keep it or take care of it don't fuck or give it up for adoption. That's painful as well though. Just my two cents I'd take care of mines if I screwed up.
