Over 100 PSOne titles available on Vita (August 28th)

Sony has declared that the PlayStation Vita will initially receive access to over one hundred titles from the PSN's PSOne Classics library when it's updated next week. Big name games include Final Fantasy VII,Metal Gear Solid, and Resident Evil 2.

YES! I was quite peed off last week when they stated on both the EU and US blog that it was only 'select titles' that will be available, and they listed like 3-4. Good to know that that wasn't the case. So happy now

Grandia is pretty good too. That final boss is a bitch to defeat though.

Only a 100 titles? Well I guess thats fine, not that many PS1 titles on the NZ PSN Store anyways... Ahhh how I wish Vagrant Story and some other classics where on the store, how depressing I really wanted to play them on the Vita.. Damn you SE

Ya, but not everyone has these games on their phone or a modded PSP. I have 37 purchased PS1 titles off the PS Store. Will be nice to play on my Vita.

I agree. I didnt buy a Vita to play a bunch of old PSOne games.

It's definitely a good feature to have on the system, no doubt about that. I just can't justify the price of the games. Right now though, I'm kinda crossing the fence, maybe lol.

Yeah its great for people who like having BC games to play. But I never bothered with BC on PS3 and propably wont with Vita either.

Like when I feel a bit nostalgic about MGS or FF or even Resident Evil to be able to replay them on your current system is nice, and for a portable its a great feature
Thou I agree I can easily play PSX games on my phone, but I own a few PSone classic already and the controls aren't exactly good on smartphones
I just hope Square bring the first Parasite Eve to the UK store so I can finally play it without the disc swapping on a PSX

Yeah I think Sony & MS need to add a few thing to BC to appeal to people more, people love playing older games in PC's with improved graphics etc, they definitely gone the wrong route with it this gen

Yeah I do like it when they actually redo the graphics. Halo CE Anniversary was a prime example of how to do it right. 343 put a brand new coat of paint on that bad boy.
