Male pervertedness is much talked about and picked on. In particular from feminists.
Yet oddly all the sex\romance novels (like 50 shades of grey, etc) "Don't count" because somehow it isn't objectifying a gender. Which I think is kind of untrue imo, it may not be turning 'men into objects' but its setting an insanely unrealistic depiction of how a normal healthy relationship works and sets an unreasonable bar for males to live up to.
In 50 shades of grey's case- it's porn. Lol. I mean yea.
As for pay and other stuff- women are already equal. The glass ceiling is a myth. Men take on more hazardous jobs, are more ambitious, and more willing to work longer\harder. Factor this in with maternity leave and you pretty much have this mythical 'gap of the genders' feminist pseudo intellectuals like to PMS about.

The serious answer to this question is of course they wouldn't. Men and woman find different things attractive. I think the primal attraction men have towards breasts stems from the whole nurturing aspect like a mother provides milk for her child, a man is meant to be looking for a good partner..one to bare their child and is going to be suitable enough to take care of it. Just like women like muscular men again for the primal reason that she is looking for a man that is strong, can protect her/child and is worthy/strong enough for her.
Think of it another way, both men and women have the ability to check themselves out in a mirror. I know I never look in the mirror at myself and think "Yeah that looks good, but a pair of breasts would make it perfect!"...likewise I'm guessing a woman would never look in a mirror and wish they had a flat chest, abs of steel and a beard.
Trophy-licious!

But see, women don't read romance novels just for sex and romance novels contain romance. Some romance novels only have kissing and no sex at all.
Yes, romance novels set high expectations for men in real life, but they're not porn or just sex.
I hope I don't come across as a feminist. I actually believe men are over women, and that's what God intended.Awww! Little baby bunny! <3

Romance novels are the female 'equivalent' to men watching porn. Females are 'hooked' on these kinds of emotional novels that appeal to a woman's psyche. This being said, many romance novels are extremely raunchy to the point of basically being literotica.
There's a reason women gravitate, as a whole, more towards this then internet porn and vice versa for men. Biological reasons.
Not all women read for romance\sex. Just like not all men watch internet videos for porn.
Women, from what I understand, are far less stimulated visually then men are. They go through other avenues for this kind of sensory pleasure.
tldr; Women, like men, desire to have 'outlets' for their natural urges. Our urges at the root are similar (reproduction, finding a mate) but at the same time very different.. Which makes sense given the innate differences between the sexes and their roles.Last edited by Vulgotha; 08-23-2012 at 20:45.

Apparently, the new cool phrase is 'glass cliff'. Which means that a woman now gets selected and promoted above the 'glass ceiling' to fail deliberately. Orchestrated by men, of course. The lack of responsibility/accountability is just astounding at times, where will it end?
*Edit* Having only heard about the book second hand (not read it, don't intend to) I get the impression if it was written for men it would be considered as degrading to women. Anyone who's read it agree?Last edited by *goo; 08-23-2012 at 20:43.

I've read portions. I never thought of it that way lol.
Yes, I can see that if it were targeted for men and became a 'huge thing' then I'm sure it would be lauded as horribly demeaning, gross, and sexist.
'Glass Cliff' sounds appropriate. Yea, complete lack of responsibility and maturity. Not surprising from the feminists.
