http://gamerlive.tv/article/elder-sc...led-hearthfire2Elder Scrolls: Skyrim is still to this one of the most active games played on PC. With Dawnguard expansion recently
hitting the Steam shelves, many have already have played 100 plus hours into the 2011 holiday hit. So what’s next for Skyrim? Bethesda recently filed a trademark called Hearthfire, which could be linked to the franchise.
This news about Bethesda’s trademark needs to brought into prospective. Playstation 3 users have yet to receive
the Dawnguard expansion as Bethesda recently admitted that the expansion was delayed due to performance issues. Releasing a new expansion before Bethesda completes its multiplatform duties is highly unlikely.

Fans of the series may have already cracked the code on
the expansion. Hearthfire symbolizes the ninth month of the Skyrim in-game calendar, could we be looking at September release date? Remember Xbox 360 gets a month
exclusivity on Skyrim downloadable content, so PC and PS3 user will once again have to wait.

More info, sorry rumor
http://www.onlysp.com/2012/08/21/sky...-construction/Ever wanted to be a medieval home renovator? If so, this leaked rumor regarding the Hearthfire DLC for Skyrim will be of interest to you.
A user by the name of derptemp6698, who is already (in)famous for leaking info about several Mass Effect DLCs, has recently stated that he knows a thing or two about Bethesda’s upcoming DLC for Skyrim. Supposedly, you’ll be able to buy land and build your own house on it. Take a look below at the details he posted.
Hearthfire™, the next official game-add on for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim®, has arrived. For the first time in the Elder Scrolls universe, purchase land and build your own home from the ground up – from a simple one-room cottage to a sprawling compound complete with armory, alchemy laboratory, trophy room, and more! With Hearthfire, the possibilities of what you can build are endless.
Time will tell if this information is true. For all we know, he/she could have made this up. We’ll make sure to keep you updated on this story.
Even more rumours
http://www.gameranx.com/updates/id/8...lc-for-skyrim/Bethesda's only just released the Dawnguard DLC for Skyrim—at least on the PC. While there's no PS3 version for it yet in sight, the studio's parent company Zenimax has filed a trademark application (USPTO) under The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim under the name of Hearthfire.
The name is pertinent to Elder Scrolls lore, as it's a fictional month equivalent to September. While the expansion has yet to be formally announced, there's a good chance that the game will come out around Halloween—which I'll elaborate upon shortly.
There's little doubt that Hearthfire pertains to an expansion for Skyrim as the company has long ago revealed plans to release large-scale DLCs like Dawnguard to support the game past release. I should add that the trademark was granted in late May, which would place it sometime after the development (but not the QA) for Dawnguard had concluded.
We speculate that the name Hearthfire relates to a Necromancy-related ceremony called "Tales and Tallows", a practice long since made illegal under Imperial law. It remains to be seen whether the game will actually allow players to take on the role of Necromancers, or their undead-slaying adversaries, but we wouldn't put it past Bethesda to release a zombie-themed DLC for Halloween. That said, they could simply go with plain old Draugr, but that wouldn't be half as fun.

http://www.product-reviews.net/2012/...nguard-on-ps3/It’s fair to say that PS3 users are not happy at all with the Dawnguard situation for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. Bethesda had originally stated that PS3 users would get it 30 days after Xbox 360, but it is now coming up to a full two months without Dawnguard and there’s still complete silence from Bethesda.
Earlier on this week we toyed on the idea of Xbox 360 users getting an announcement on Hearthfire, the next rumored pack, before PS3 users even have a chance to play Dawnguard. We received some very interesting feedback for sure which you can read through yourselves here, but some additional details on Hearthfire have arrived and it once again threatens to make this a reality for PS3 owners.
Now, an official DLC description has reached Reddit and it suggests that Hearthfire will give Xbox 360 owners the chance to buy land and create their own buildings from scratch. You’ll be able to perform deep customization inside this house, with luxuries such as a complete armory or a full scaled alchemy laboratory.
Does this description leaking out suggest that Bethesda is close to an announcement perhaps? After all, Dawnguard was first announced on May 1st for Xbox 360 owners so they are well due some new content after playing Dawnguard to death.
This is likely to cause further frustration amongst PS3 owners as they face the possibility of Xbox 360 owners being able to build houses in Hearthfire, before they have even had a chance to play as the Dawnguard or Vampires in the first pack. We read through the feedback in our previous article and did spot one unlikely scenario.
One user suggested that Bethesda should make up for their obvious lack of effort in keeping the PS3 community updated, by providing a free copy of Dawnguard as an apology. In support of this, it is an extra month of waiting that PS3 users have had to put up with, rather than 1 month that was originally the plan.
It seems unlikely that Bethesda are going to waive $20 just like that when Xbox 360 users paid for the same content, but what are your thoughts on this idea? Do you think Bethesda would be so generous?

Bethesda pretty much dropped the ball on all this.

But the ability to build houses. It sounds like " skyrim sims " Rather than a medieval dragon slayer game
