Inbox notification?

So my inbox is showing one new message, I don't have any new private messages or profile comments. I thought it might be a warning or something but there doesn't seem to be a way to check for those anymore. What could it be and how do I check it?

Someone gave you rep probably. You get notices now for it.

Rep comes up, with either a comment or no comment. So not rep, its just wee thing. Try and refresh the page or send a pm to semeone and get them to reply, that way it should cancel that one out and therefore make it disappear all together

I don't think he's asking for it to disappear. If that was the case, you just need to click on the message that appears on the dropdown list for Notifications.

Ok, now the number is 2 and I still can't find what it is.

It isn't a private message, profile message or rep.

Is it just a thing that happens. Try clearing your history off being on the site or clear you browser history and refresh

See me a PM and then try and delete your sent bix and i will reply after you delete your sent box. When i send you a Pm, just delete it striaght away

It does seem like a forum glitch I repped you earlier in one of your post that explains why it's 2 now.

It must be a forum glitch. Its up to the website to fix and it will. My suggestion has failed and it seems its up to the site to fix it. No admin can fix it. Its just a duplication of an old Pm, rep or something else

Dave-The-Rave: you not the only one this has happened to, that is why i suggested what i did and it worked for me. It seems its failed for you, why is unclear. It should have just cancelled or replaced the one there. So its a complete odd one mate

Ah, finally figured out how to fix it. I just went to my UserCP and the rep notifications went away. The other one was a friend request. Problem solved. Hope this helps other people if it pops up again.

I still have one notification pending, I checked pretty much everything i know, the pm inbox, likes history, rep history etc.
