It's best to be neutral with those who aren't too keen with your opinions then to dislike them

But I have tried this approach before. I even tried to ignore them and even spoke about that subjectively. Even when I knew they were posting in the thread, I tried not to disagree with their opinion when I post my own. But there are others who just want to provoke me for the sake of provoking. To prove me wrong on purpose just because. Those are the type of people I have a certain way of replying to.

That works half the time. Unfortunately I did not have that many good reasons to be their friends, nor they to me. There have been success stories before. And forgive me for pointing names, but Rapture, Vulgotha and Blacksite, I've argued with them before, I said some things, and over time, we now talk to each other and it worked out without PM's, we just had some things in common. But there are others who I would just prefer to ignore and not speak to at all to avoid conflict.

Now, I'd rather drop this whole subject.



Another thing I learned from this forum over time is gaming journalism, how to review a game and believe or not, vocabulary on game terms.

I think that the conversations that have been had here are something to think about but haven't changed me directly. There have been very interesting topics here before. I've gotten used to members here but I realized I haven't played a game with anyone here other than F34R once. Lol

1.I've learned vocabulary words on here. For example: Subjective, Fathom, and basis. There's more but i don't feel like typing that much.

2.I've learned not to take everything on the internet Seriously. From some of the things i do, you would question that but it's always been my personal problems in real life and then i would get on here and someone would say something offensive and i would take it out of proportion. I didn't realize it was just the NORM for the big, wide, web. So i take a why so serious approach to it now.

3. I've also learned about how big the world is. I already knew how big it is but there's some places i would never thought i would like to go, like the UK, but now i would love to go there because some fantastic members are from there, and i would love to meet and talk with the locals. They have to be fantastic( the locals), if the members from here are cool and it's the internet. It's the most demonic yet awesomeness(lol) place ever.

from my time here I've learn how easily I can rob some ppl and get away with it since:

1.) they hate cops
2.) hate authority figures
3.) hate guns (prefer carrying a whistle instead LOL)
4.) believe they can disarm ppl without using extreme forces.

I've learned many things from other members as well. The number one: Always take things with a grain of salt!. I admit that I used to take gaming reviews seriously but that prevented me from playing some of the best games at the time.

My time here hasn't really changed me much. Back when I joined there was a lot of drama it seemed like, but I don't think this site makes me think differently or anything. The site did show me how much better forums can be, though. This isn't the best site, but the discussions for the most part have a lot more maturity and are just more interesting than most sites. Barely run into the whole "U MAD?" crowd. Overall, good stuff.

Enemies are common, but i think i do not have enemies anymore. More mentors that help me when i mess up i.e my grammar and epic failed jokes. You can not laugh at yourself for stupid things, then get over it

The only thing I can think of is that writing on the forum since 2006 has greatly improved my English grammar and spelling. The forum has been of great help in that regard.

meh, site hasn't changed me much. the only difference now is that i know which members to respect
so in that respect, i pay more attention when i post in response to their posts. otherwise i just play devils advocate

I spend most of my time on these forums from work cause in real life I don't have time running my business, dealing with real life responsibility, and so on. My job is my only real down time.

I've been on plenty of forums and played major parts in them in the past. This forum is nothing different from the normal the only thing I've notice is forum elders (some) are just dicks and don't do a great job of welcoming new members and stay living in the past which is fine to reminisce but undermining new members trying to get into the new community. I personally think we need to do a better job on helping the community grow.

As for the moderation staff they are great while there have been 2 or 3 times I don't agree with them they are more than fair and do a great job on the site. Given the current state of sony and how slow news has been this forum stays pretty busy. Like some of you I expect the forum to pick up once ps4 rolls around.

Just a lot of things going on with the side and I've been lucky to see it from both sides its exciting and I'm appreciative that I am able to be a part of it as any forum member should be.

Going forward as I get more situated in my new house I would eventually like to get a PSU podcast together that would start bi weekly. I'm about two months away from getting with the content team about it but looking forward to getting people involved to help with it.
