This may be old news to many of you but I was questioning what I heard the other day. Is Sony cancelling the production of the Playstation 3D Bundle Display? The display of the television is great and the price makes it ideal for not only gamers but also individuals who are looking for a quality television.
If so, what is the reason for the stop in production?

Nobody was buying it. It is really just a 3D monitor. I do believe Sony is not manufacturing anymore of those tv's.

I've heard there was terrible reliability issues with it. Is that wrong? I wouldn't buy one because I've got a 58" 3D TV but thought about it for Christmas for my brother who just graduated.

I'd only buy it to replace the 22" 1080p LCD I use for video captures with the consoles. I haven't read or heard anything about it not being reliable.

I think Sony is moving on to another project with their 3D TVs.
