An image of what appears to be a new Legend of Zelda games was posted on the Gamefaqs forums earlier today. The picture shows the top of a Nintendo 3DS screen with a title screen for, believe it or not, Legend of Zelda Shrimp Shield. As much as I want a new Legend of Zelda game for 3DS, I’m going to mark this down under fake. Gamefaqs doesn’t have the most honest community and the fact that the bottom part of the 3DS isn’t shown is sketchy. You can recreate a 3D image on the 3DS’ top screen with Colors 3D or view a 3D image via the internet browser. What do you guys think of the image? Fake or real? I thought the same thing mate. But the Japanese have the habit of being tight lipped about these things and zelda started in japan. So a new one is not uncommon. It could be one for the Japanese gaming market only. Its not the only series to be treated this way

Last I heard about the Zelda series was Mr Miyamoto was interested in doing a LTTP remake.

A LINK TO THE PAST, is the one that has been in the minds of many since OCRIANA OF TIME. So its the logical next step.
But a completely new zelda from scratch is a better option. All fresh and new on a new console

It could be real. Grezzo develop the portable Zelda titles but I would think they would want to work on a new entry after the 3DS port.
