New "Ape Escape", possibly for PSVita, is my guess.

The sign says "Saru Get You!", and in Japan "Ape Escape" is known as "Saru Gecchu". Don't really know how the lightning fits in to this theory, though.

EDIT: I suppose it could just be an announcement of more "Ape Escape" characters for Battle Royale.

Played a little of the beta on Vita, can't say I was impressed. Kinda 'meh' in the entertainment department.

I can only think of inFamous 3 by the way this trailer looks.

SARU! GET YOU! is on the sign which does fit in with Ape Escape. If that is the case, I am not interested.

10/23/2012 does not have anything to do with Battle Royale.

That character could be the character from Liberation and the electricity could be the new protagonist from AC3 appearing. So many damn things this could be.

Well...I JUST saw that gun or a very similar model being sen sort of prominently in the MGS: Ground Zeroes trailer/gameplay video. It would be odd to tease for a game that has already been revealed, though, so it may not be Ground Zeroes and a Big Boss reveal for All-Stars instead. Or...the gun is common to other action games and this is about something else entirely.

Yet still, you have to wonder why you pretty much see that same gun here shortly after that MGS video. Doesn't explain the lightning, though, so I could be wrong.

The Ape Escape reference could be a random PlayStation prop. It doesn't really strike me as the kind of advertisement you'd see for the series.

It makes me think more and more of the Michael ad and that we'll be seeing another get-together of video game characters.

Seems like a lot of mixed opinions about the game. Are some of you trying to compare this to SSB in terms of gameplay?

Though I can't judge quite yet as I don't have PS+. I'll have to wait a week.

Downloaded the Beta and I'm having fun with it. It saddens me that I suck at using Kratos and Radec but I'm beast with Papparapa the rapper(Wtf?!) >__>

I don't know. He was my first choice the moment I was able to play it and I went on a losing streak. Same with Radec until I started using Paparappa the Rapper.

Never played SSB. Just didn't find the fighting 'satisfying' in the kind of way that the likes of Street Fighter would be. Not comparing them but not getting that kind of buzz.

Intend to give it more time, though.

Never played Smash Bros. and I initially wasn't too impressed with the first viewings of the game in motion or even reading about it. That said, upon playing the beta, my hype has considerably grown. Imma definitely cop it. Not sure about day 1, but that's moreso due to funds and amount if games dropping that I want. Maybe Christmas buys. Gotta baby due around then too tho, so may try to get it before then due to that as well.

I love playing as Sweettooth. Kratos is pretty crazy, it feels easy stringing combos together with him and his AP meter seems as though it fills up rather quickly.

Maybe Parappa is easier to pick up and use? You aren't the first I've heard who has done well with Parappa moreso than other characters (who may have more advanced or more unusual movesets).

After watching the new teaser, I'd say Infamous 3 is out of the table now given the new Ratchet & Clank and Uncharted references, so this definitely must be PS All Stars Battle Royale related.

I've come in 1st place more often than not. Like 4/7. I've only used Kratos thus far outside of Parappa in the tutorial. Can't wait to use Nariko, Coles, Dante, Jak & Daxter, R&C and Raiden. I do really hope that Crash and Cloud make it into the game.

I wish the tutorial allowed you to use whomever. I'd much more likely try out some of the others (from the beta, mainly just Sly) if I could do it offline with no opposition or at least no time clock so I could get more of a feel for them first.

its just some marketing technique to keep people guessing when its going to be an ad (a good/clever one at that im sure, like 'Michael' was) but its not like its going to announce anything new at all. As if. Looking at the thumbnail its a live action ad with that same female, so its obviously related
