Looks like these videos are a roll call for the PABR game. Might be a new video for each character invited to the Battle Royale. She is typing an invite for Jak as well.

Pretty much the entire community at this point know PSASBR in detail via gameplay videos and interviews that all follow a very distinct theme and presentation style inspired by the game itself and the videos tell us exactly what was coming. I don't see why Sony would arbitrarily feel the need to recalibrate their established marketing approach and image for PSASBR, a game the average gamer knows a good deal about and still isn't out, by dusting off the Michael campaign and delivering it in elaborate, heavy-handed, cryptic teaser format.
I mean I get it, there are numerous IP references in each teaser and PSASBR features numerous IPs, but to go through all that trouble for no significant reason to promote the same kind of PSASBR content we have always been getting (character reveals)? This teasing has got to be for something else.Last edited by Bio; 10-21-2012 at 18:30.

The references to different PlayStation games within the teaser trailers are pretty cool.

I have a feeling this game will get a pretty avg rating and have a pretty lackluster release but I think this game will have legs. I think it is the type that will just steadily get more popular over time and will find itself in many a playstation gamers library. I am not really into fighters (never been good or patient to practice the moves) and because I live away from family and friends and when I get online its manly just for a few rounds of COD/Battlefield but I think this game will have that underground following. It has that charm and satisfaction/rewarding feeling to it and I think it will only gain popularity. A true classic in the making imo.

If anything, regardless of how good the first release is, it has the ultimate sequel potential.

The community here know about it, the general public doesnt know. It's their next big game and they're not going to advertise it? That's ridiculous. It's the launch of the Allstars campaign it's the only thing that makes sense since the game was born out of the "Micheal" campaign.

Maybe the original 'Michael' ad was secretly the first PSASBR ad, meaning that this new series of ads will be introducing Assassin's Creed, FFXIII & Portal characters to the game.
Shut up and play games
