No I was just speculating what is happening. Its obvious Sony would have tried to get Crash since it was their mascot since psOne. who knows, maybe we will end up seeing him idk

I'm not too fussed if Crash and Spyro don't make it in.

They were among my favorite platformers back when Naughty Dog and Insomniac made the games, but both series also took an extremely quick nosedive once Sony lost them and they went multiplatform. The bad memories from the later games, are just as strong as the good memories from the original developers. There were more BAD Crash and Spyro games than there were GOOD ones.

It's been rumored time and time again that Square Enix will have a character. Since they snatched up Eidos, this could mean we'll see Cloud, Lightning, or Lara Croft. Seth Killian said that there would be more PSone representation in a Giant Bomb podcast very recently too. Here's hoping for Cloud and Crash.

All I really care for at this point is Crash and Spyro. I'm pretty complacent with the roster.

Not too big on FF, but I would prefer Cloud to Lightning. Cloud is arguably one of the most iconic characters of the franchise.

To me, she doesn't "represent" PlayStation gaming like Cloud would. Or Tidus. Nevermind the fact that I think the new titles are watered down garbage compared to prior entries.

Dante and Raiden make sense because, traditionally, they were "Playstation" icons for the PS2. Even if their newer games are multiplat. The same is not true for Lightning.

It's annoying as hell how they try to shove Lightning down our throats as if she's supposed to be such a great or memorable character.

They have been doing the same with regards to her being in Dissidia 2 as well.

I can't stand her, or the FF-13 saga.

I think they were just deadset on the whole 'hurdur gurl cloud!!11' angle with her and just won't let up on that front with all her marketing. Hell, as we know, her facial structure is already identical to his from Advent Children anyway.

I don't mind if Sony feels the need to advertise these newer characters (and that's what it is, there is no PlayStation legacy behind new DmC, Raiden and Lightning), but make sure you do have the legacy 3rd party characters in there. Seriously, the game should have Chris Redfield, Lara Croft, Cloud, Sephiroth and Snake. The inclusion of those characters would make the roster perfect for me.

Big Daddies are a generic enemy type. Not even a character. And they have no resonance to the Playstation brand at all, I associate it more with the Xbox brand since Bioshock was at least a timed exclusive. And its not as if they needed to add him to pad the length of the roster or anything--afterall, Sony owns more franchises/characters than Nintendo by far.

New Dante is self-explanatory.

I'm ok with Ninja Raiden, since he first showed up in MGS4. Still don't like him though.

They should of put the original dante in there and left the new one as a skin. Also, i agree with you on big daddy. He doesn't even seem right in the game and I like Raiden because he's been with playstation for years.
