Final Fantasy executive producer Shinji Hashimoto appeared at Ginza SWING!! in Chuo-ku, Tokyo today.

Touching briefly upon Final Fantasy Versus XIII, Hashimoto said that the project has evolved considerably, and that it is important to bring it out. It is “turning out to be unbelievably amazing,” he added.

I think if its officially not cancelled..we must be about ready for a media blowout, maybe not at the anniversary event..but definitely at TGS.

I'm with Dark on this one, I just want this game in my tray. Its exclusivity seemed more important years ago but at this point in time I just want a good 7th gen FF game. PS3 only would be nice for a no compromises perspective but yeah, just get it out and do what you can to recover abit of your dev costs SE.

To put it quite frankly, I don't like Square anymore, or their products. They have lost all respect for their fans and have shown it. 4-6 years for the release of mediocre titles, then a lackluster sequel. They are the most sketchy and wishy washy of this generation. Even if versus arrives this gen, I won't buy it. I'll maybe get another Square game later on down the line when their management, business practices, and development times change. Until then, my money will be going to the other companies that have totally outdid them in every way this gen.

Exactly. Then stop all this bullshit on spin offs, sequels and side stories and get onto FF15,16,17etc

after the horrific bore that is FF13, i'm not keeping my hopes up.

I want versus to be epic and amazing, and for square to show us something but its been too long with too little to keep the hype up.

You better hush talking about aquare like that. You know you can't make constructive critiscm against them

Anyways, i agree with you. However, i don't agree with your comment about NOT buying versus. I honestly couldn't sit there and not buy that when it's on shelves. Your whole waiting would go in vain, man. Lastly, i hope next gen arrives soon and i want square to make a comeback with some of the best final fantasies ever.

exactly, I want great games no matter who they are by because great games means everyone wins.

But squares current gen track record has me more reserved then the start of the ps3 era I'll put it that way.

I have a feeling that versus is going to be square's turnaround, man. I like to see a streak of good games after it, you know. Versus, kh3, and ffxHD is a good start for it to. I think they might just surprise us at the Anniversary event.
