Ive mostly visited SC a couple times if NC is like SC then i can see what you mean however when i was on vacation there it was in the mountains. I LOVE FL! Job situation here isnt bad here. Cost of living is WAY cheaper here than up north in regards to housing

Well, i made a promise to go up there tomorrow because my nephew has physical therapy and the car is gone. Also, i was reading last night and there's over 40 places that allow you to get you high school diploma in NC. I even called my cousin and his moma said, "she's sure that i can" because she goes there and she said, "there's people of 40 still trying to get there high school diploma" and i'm kinda happy about that. I hope i just get to do this because i'm ready.

Great man. Just do what you gotta do and don't let anyone hold you back. Seriously, do what's best for you and everything else will follow suit. As for your "friends" who you lent money out, it's time they either pay up or get lost. For future reference and it's also a rule of mine, don't ever loan anyone anything you can't write off or do without. People tend to see kindness as a weakness if you aren't clear about setting some boundaries.

As an aside, I'm looking to move back up north or west. I can't stand NC any longer. People down here are assholes and most of them are neocons, which I hate with a passion.

Could be worse, you could have some sort of disability or disease that could kill you. Hell, I have to deal with the fact that my body wont stop killing my own skin cells (vitiligo) which leads to awkward moments (not that bad thankfully (yet)).

Like another person said in this thread, if you really don't want to finish highschool (or can't because you have job or w/e) you can do GED, especially in the US (in canada you need prerequisite from highschool for college/university which you don't in US) so you can get into College fairly easily as long as you pass the GED test and other skill assessments.

It's not bad as in it doesn't really do any damage other than create awkward moments. Basically my immune system keeps attacking my skin cells that make the color of the skins which leads to white patches. Thankfully it doesn't do any real damage, if I really want I can just use cover up (but I don't really care enough to use it).

It's kinda random, it's generally gets worse or stays the same. It's different for each person though...

I already know about it. I'm just not interested. I know in some people's cases like there just ready to leave and go off to college. I'm gonna need some hardcore tutoring with math and i just don't feel the ged will help to the level of knowledge i wanna achieve.
