I just watched it again at GTTV and it looks as spectacular as GZ imho. It's such an awesome trailer. I wonder if Boss got reunited with her love, The Sorrow, when she died. Maybe they are the two phantoms...It would be a crazy story...

just watched the trailer and I seen nothing at all related to mgs. what does a british flag and a hook arm have to do with mgs? the whole presentation was not mgs style either.

um the trailer w cgi so of course it looked good.also big boss never had a hook for an arm and what would this force be that is attacking the hospital? then you have he british flag. none of this is remotely related to ms unless all of that is just a ploy.I think that people are jumping to conclusions as usual and will be disappointed once again.

Upon researching the dev studio behind it, it shows that the CEO of "Moby Dick Studeio" is someone called Joakim Mogren. Which is an obvious anagram for Kojima and then followed by M-OGRE-N. People, we have been trolled. lol Kojima and his odd ways. At least we know now that Big Boss is going to get really messed up from this MGS outing.

Wow! some people are quick lol. And I'm thinking this might just end up being MGS Ground Zero, they probably decided to change the name.

Yeah, DarkNemesis, this is definitely MGSV (which may or may not be a name change to MGS: Ground Zeroes). The easter eggs are just too numerous and coincidental.

At any rate, I sort of hope this is Ground Zeroes because I want to see MGS on Next-Gen systems before the Big Boss story fully bridges into Metal Gear 1.

I'm pretty sure the common understanding is that Ground Zeros is not MGS5, but a side story game which will lead into MGS5 (Project Ogre).

"The burning guy" is definitely Volgin as seen in the Neogaf pics which would explain him being the burnt up guy in the ground zeros trailer getting on the chopper. The guy helping the one armed Big Boss is Gray Fox (note that the bandages look like a ninja mask... foreshadowing the cyborg ninja transformation) and upon further investigation of Grayfox I found that he's the kid in the Ground zeros trailer with the tape recorder meaning this takes place after what we've seen in Ground Zeros. The floating person at the end is actually a child Psycho Mantis who is likely causing the hallucinations because he had a slightly similar issue causing Snake hallucinations in MGS1, as a child he would have had less control.
