It doesn't really look like next-gen to me.
This is more than likely console footage.

That's a late PS2 game. Konami do have talent - further evidence that there is zero reason why this game is a current gen game.

Japan finally has an engine that can go toe to toe with those from the west. Hopefully Japanese devs will use the Fox Engine for their games.

Does anyone have this IGN Prime subscription and can download the 720p version of the 14 minutes gameplay? IGN is currently the only one with direct feed footage of the 14 minutes version.
Would be great if someone could upload that 720p to a mediafire or something.

While I would like to download the footage, I sincerely hope that nobody pays for IGN Prime...

Someone was nice enough to create a Prime account ... now you can download it

Name: bugmenot000
Pass: bugmenot
please don't change any account information or passwords guys.
It would be great if someone has a fast enough connection to mirror this 300+ MB file in case the account runs out or gets banned.

Man, this trailer looks sweeter the more I watch it. I'm super chuffed we get a Big Boss game this gen, especially at the ass end of the gen when it gets made in an advanced engine. What a debut title for Kojima's new engine! His engine is looking damn nice.
From FOX, two phantoms were born...I wish Kojima meant Fox Engine, and that Ground Zeroes is just one of these phantoms, with a MGS remake being the other.
Fuck yeah I'd die in a wild fanboy fapfest.

WTF?
Then be prepared for massive disappointment next gen. The textures, lighting and cloth physics in the rain are unimaginable on today's consoles. I don't know what black magic the fox engine is using. kojima was right when he said that the new MGS event will shake the industry

Ain't that the truth! This game looks beautiful from what I have seen. From the sheer openness to the particle, texture and weather effects, it looks phenomenal. The inhouse engine looks like it was well worth the time and effort put into it. I would be perfectly happy with a game looking like this on PS4/Nextbox.

We still gotta remember that this is only one environment we've seen, god knows what this engine is capable of

I'm also onboard the "I don't believe this" train. I don't think anything we've seen was running real time on PS3 or Xbox 360.

According to the tweets in the OP, the PC it was running on is "current gen specs" and these kinds of PC demos are unoptimized.

As awesome as it looked, it wasn't exactly what I'd call next-gen material.
Now Watchdogs for example is a different story. Those graphics were phenomenal and it was an open-world game through and through!
Look at the tech demos of both the Unreal Engine 4 and Square's new Luminous engine. This is what I expect. =)
But again, I love what I'm seeing here and it will undoubtedly end up being one of my favourite games this gen.
