quick question about doom

Hey I used to play doom 1, 2 and final doom quite a bit when I was younger... anyways there was a level where in the end, you walked into a room and even if you had God mode on you would automatically die, you got surrounded by enemies and just got destroyed... anybody who can tell me which doom this is from or the level it's from? Any help appreciated.

Well im probably the biggest doom fan there is

that game is the best!

Im not entirely sure what you talking about but have an idea. Is it where you go into this portal and then its all dark but flashes, and almost every monster in the game is in this room? You try to fight but you last mabe 5 minutes because its all the boss type guys as well and there is no where to hide.

If so this happens in the demo of the second game, or i think it also happens in the end of the first or final doom not sure which one, because i remember after wards it says buy doom something and find out what happens.

Are you looking to buy it or something?

I love Doom as well and have played every one. The room you describe...I have no idea where that is.

I know there is some kind of hidden level like this in Doom 3 where there are just columns of enemies and you have the BFG to take them on. It's like pretty much death or you type something in the console to freeze them all then it's a killing field.

this is the level I'm talking about, I'm dying to know what it is, I rememberd it when I was watching a video of someone speed running the game, the guy flew through it.

Msdstc, the only flaw with your thinking is if this is Doom 3 or Doom 3 expansion, I am 99 percent sure that you wouldnt die even with God mode. There was no area to my knowledge like that so maybe it was a prior one.

There was this one level, i cant remember what doom, im currently replaying them all

beat doom 1 and finishing up doom 2, but its where there are cells or something but the rooms empty. I am preaty sure that its at the end of doom 2, its like right before you fight to two big guys at the end i think, if i come across it soon ill be sure to let you know.

Just one question, i came across this one level thats almost the same but it didnt have all the mosters and it was beatable, as i beat it, so mabe you got the two levels confused? YOu said you watched a video do you have a link that may help.

Its bugging me now, i know exactly the level your talking about but cant remember what.

Their is a test room in doom 3 based on that part of the original doom.
You walk around the corner and the room has about 30 or so monsters in it.
Safe to say any pc not sporting a nuclear reactor for a cpu dies trying to run it :P

I know it crashed my pc lol

indeed you have to use noclip to get there
its ages away though, but you get there eventually

So i guess its the original doom? That one is easy to beat so ill do it real fast and look for the room sometime, mabe today.

Where in doom 3 is that room? Just so i dont miss it this time around.

Its not 'in doom 3' per say, its a test room you can load up via the console.
Bring up the console by pressing Alt+Ctrl+~ then enter the following:
map testmaps/test_lotsaimps

warning; loading this map will cause major OMGWTF lag and potentially crash your pc.
