Awesome work friend... I think it would sit rightly in the General GTA THREAD in the PS2 LEGACY section

lol tell me about it, GTA3 ambulance was the worst because it was top heavy, hated getting to level 11 or 12 and then for it to flip.

Yep you can't get out either otherwise you auto fail, unlike the vigilante mission, had to drive back to the police station for another cop car on LCS and thankfully got one just in time.

I really wish they'd make the new Vita GTA in the style of GTA3 and hopefully tie it to that storyline too.

Man a LIBERTY CITY STORIES 2 would be freaking ace... They could do Tommy Vercetti before he went to Vice City and that ties in with the GTA 3 story because it is the raise and fall of the Forelli Family and the raise of the Leon family via Salvator

Restarted Vice City, and lol, everytime I restart one of these games I'm like "ok this is the best one", when I replay SA after this I'll probably feel the same again, then again when I play GTA3 etc.

It is what it is i guess

Yeah, I was like that with GTA III and Vice City for a while but still love GTA III the most because of the more depressing fall atmosphere and attention to detail (sound of the subway train under Portland, for example).

I swear, GTA III and Bully were my best PS2 moments.

with every GTA game in the series it has to be the people of the cities that make it so alive and that can not be beat

It helped that both Liberty City and Bullworth were surrounded by land or connected to a mainland. Otherwise, the game world felt small.

I'd probably give SA the edge due to the amount of stuff that you can do, I've only done 2 missions and the Pizza Boy and Paramedic missions and already at 3 or 4% complete. VC has some things SA didn't have though like the ability to rob stores, tear gas (removed from later versions for some reason) etc.

    Gameplay - San Adnreas
    Setting - Vice City
    Nostalgia - III
    Music Vice City/San Andreas
    Replay Value - III

All three have amazing stories. IV sucked at everything except graphics compared to the above.

I agree on the amount off content that is in san andreas beats the others hands down...

But GTA 3 will always be the bench mark for the series and always be my favorite

We all have a special GTA game off the series and will argue why it is and love the healthy argument

I always means to download the ROM but it always slips my mind lol

In the UK, it's the only GTA not rated 18+ (it's a 16+), so I guess it's not as violent as 1 or 2.

I guess you're right. I don't think they profited much from Grand Theft Auto Advance or Chinatown Wars. Grand Theft Auto Advance wasn't even developed by Rockstar.

True, but CHAINTOWN WARS was profitable when it moved to the PSP and yes Rockstar never thought of doing the handheld side of gaming unless it made profit

And they got that from L.C.S and V.C.S, so it seems a new handheld GTA might be in the future

Yeah, only about 2-3 things that VC had that SA didn't but the tear gas is still both in SA and VC all versions (need cheat device for later versions of VC or mod for PC).

I have been reading how all these gamers are going back to GTA SA for one last time before the ultimate replacement comes along...interestingly I've been doing the same as I took a long break after beating it and now I'm just starting to use the cheats and its bringing me back already. I've been having a blast even though I've played this game a ton and still crack up over the situations and mayhem. The lines like, "Hump my wife" and various noises the peds make are just hilarious. Also, "I got you now MAC DADDY!" Almost 100% of the lines both the police and CJ make when CJ is arrested make me laugh. Still don't know what happened to that one mission and how to date more women but I haven't looked it up either. The Chaos mode, Cars Fly, Cars Float Away When Hit, and Spawn Hunter cheat codes are very fun and funny together.
