My body is ready. I'm sure there will be many that are upset with more from the XIII saga but i for one am not. I really enjoyed both games and I'm looking forward to this is as well.

FFXIII-2 failed to impress me as XIII did and for a less focussed story and only 2 protagonists (Mostly just Noel)
I'm nervous for this one since it also has only one lead character, hope the story is tight and focused like the first but I don't think it will be

I want to like it. I want to be hyped. But I can't. The Frame rate is worrying, the animations looked janky and I don't like the UI.

Its pretty sick I'm so excited. Love me some Lightning action. The battle music is FFXIII but slightly remixed. Love it.

Yeah I hate games with a time limit but I don't think the whole thing will be that way and count down. I'm assuming certain segments will be and/or the game is set into 13 days and you have to prioritise missions and stuff. I dunno. Sounds like something along those lines

WOW, was not expecting the trailer until the 22nd! Looks so good. I can't wait to eat this up. Going to update the OP. Looks like we also have the platforms confirmed too. PS3, 360 and no WiiU.

They're taking the FFXIV approach, I think they said since their anniversary no Final Fantasy title has been a failure. Since XIV originally flopped they're rebooting it in Reborn and XIII didn't do too well originally so they're wanting to make it a success with Lightning Returns

Did anyone notice the timing of the video? 1:33; 13-3. I saw that one on youtube.

No, that means they're rebooting the series which they aren't. Return is better suited for the last game in her saga

It was a joke....lol. That's why I inserted resurrection (alive again) in there for Versus and when it comes to rebooting games that would be reincarnation.

Yeah the framerate was a bit of a concern but remember when they announced lightning returns they barely had ANY work done. They were using place holder models and textures for the behind closed doors presentation. reporters said they were using XIII-2's lightning model iirc.

I believe its still alpha software so the framerate will improve
