I won't be buying a new-gen console because I'm pretty much satisfied with what my PS3 offers.

I can't get excited about rumors as soon as something comes out of sonys mouth I will revisited my excitement current I'm content with my current consoles and looking forward to getting my wii u

I'm more excited for the price drop in everything PS3 related really.

But if you can afford it - get it.

Its always exciting when we get new hardware doesn't matter which company now if ur personally excited and plan on getting it is another story lol

That's why I put the 3 points. I'm excited for the PS3 price drop that will come with the next-gen console, which makes me excited for the next-gen console.
I don't know if what I said makes any sense though....

Oh, I get what you're saying. You're not excited for the PS4 so much as you are for the price drop of the PS3 games that would follow the announcement.

considering i went through 3 x360 and 2 ps3 ima wait for the 2nd release of the ps4 or x720 im not going through that again plus they wil proly start at 1k normal

I'm excited to see what Sony will come up with, but I'm really satiated by current gen. I don't need perfect and amazing graphics to enjoy games. I recently revisted Resident Evil on Vita and that game still offers me something that a lot of modern games can't. I'm more than happy with the standard of games at the moment and look forward to Sony's ongoing support of PS3 and Vita. I will get PS4 after the first 12-18 months I think. No point buying day 1 if I don't need it, especially when I can have more selection and cheaper console and game prices later on.

too many next gen rumors I'm not exactly fond of so until PS4 is officially anounced and everything is layed out.. only then will I be excited or not. I've pretty much bought majority of the games on my list (I think I'll have 3 by end of this year, though next year will add abunch more)

Also I'm still fine with this gen, next year the PS3 is going out with a bang and will last me well over two years to finish all of them + my backlog.
