A GameStop employee told me the other day that Brothers in Arms: Hell's Highway was going to be an Xbox 360 exclusive.
So yeah, they are all full of crap.
Good prices though lol.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

As I recall, when I preordered FFXII, they told me that I could cancel it and get my money back any time. If you don't want the game, you should just cancel your order.

Exactly Trinity, I was going to go nag on them at my EB games or Gamestop last night. I still will and I always tell people to get the PS3 even though I told a kid to get a 360 once because his mom was buying that and a PSP for him at Walmart along with a load of games and extras. Too bad, you don't have to have knowledge of your products to work at those places.

I had a really arrogrant EB guy when geting RFonline(horrible game btw). I didn't pre-order it, but I was sure they had some copies left. I told him that I know they had some. He clicked on his comptuer for a while, then he just plooped it down on the counter like he wanted to hurt me 0_0. I paid for it and went about my business :/
When I went last week to pre-order TOA, I was glad he wsn't there. I only pre-order stuff there becuase I can walk there from my house. I go the local shop 2 miles away for everything else.Member # 11 of the balanced gamers group

For real man, the lies they make are just...out of and beyong any fanboy imagination. I go there to find cheapo games.
My friend got kicked out of that place because he owned one of them pretty bad. On his way out he knocked 3 mag racks and the candy rack
.
Dont dare to say you will get a PS3, because all the suddent the 360 will out power it by at least x5.

When I went to trade in my GameCube, I only got $25 worth of store credit. I was like "WTF", but I just forgot about it and got another PS2.

I've never had a problem with people at my local gamestop.

While I agree with a lot of the comments in this thread, and find it somewhat amuzing, I think this is a little harsh Trinity. Yeah, they definetely say some pretty ignorant things, but even the burger flippers aren't useless. Anyway, back on subject.
Yeah, my EB said no calling list for when pre-orders start....and then they gave me the usual "ps3 = crap" shpeal. I still don't understand why this is so common. From what I hear on this forum it seems to happen everywhere.http://www.thebloodlineclan.com

I spoke to Gamestop and EBGames today and suprisingly, both stores gave me the same answer. Both said something along the lines that they're waiting to get the final number of how many PS3's they're going to get before they preorder and that the best way to preoder is to call on a daily basis until they find out. Not the answer I would have preferred, but I'm glad both have their stories straight, unlike some of the stores I read about in these forums.

Just cause they work in a game store doesn't mean they know everything, a lot of their knowledge comes from press releases/reps/stuff they learn from the public
THey are earning like 13-14 and hour and unless they are devoted gamers they probably arnen't going to try to hard to know whats going on.
Its like going into a 7/11 and asking the attendant whats going to be the price margins for the world oil price over the next 6 months.

Yeah I am 15 years old, and I can easily outsmart Gamestop employees, I just love how they think they know so much about anything to do with gaming.
