I say you wait and get the Sony KD-84X9005

Saying your price and inch preference would be a start.

Buy a Bravia LCD or LED. Best on the market by a mile.

Get a Sony Bravia, excellent quality in picture a sound, have had my 40" for just over 2 years now with no problems.

I cant say for the American market, but 32" Bravias are under $400 here in Oz-land and have stunning and I mean stunning picture and colour reproduction.

Do NOT buy a Bravia. Sony is incredibly overpriced when it comes to TVs.
Panasonic plasmas are usually the best you can find, closely followed by Samsung plasmas.

Say what you will but the Panasonic TVs always receive the highest possible ratings by critics worldwide. You're probably comparing two outdated models with a newer Bravia one.
There is a reason that the Bravia market is struggling while Panasonic and Samsung are battling for the pole position. And no, it's not just the price.

Usually people buy a new TV after a few years and with progression sure the newest will shit all over your older TV.

Right now I'm using an LG 47" with 3D. Not too expensive and the image quality is excellent!.
