So I have 3 PS3's, one for each TV (a decision I now regret, but that's another story). So apparently when they reduced the number of consoles tied to an account from 3 to 2, the newest PS3 automatically fell off, so I can't activate anything I purchase on that PS3. I'd rather not remove all my purchases from any ps3, but I want to know:
is it possible to purchase to designate which ps3's are allowed to use which purchased content?
for example, can i use download 1 on ps3s 1 and 2, and download 2 on ps3s 1 and 3, and download 3 on ps3s 2 and 3?

why would u wanna pay for something twice?
pisses me off that i bought 2 copies of cod but the maps pack i bought is only good on 2 of my ps3s, one of which i don't even play that game on. Certain games i only play on certain systems, ie while i prefer fps's on my projector screen I mainly play sports in my bedroom and 4 player games in the family room. I can get by with using psn stuff on only 2 systems but I don't want everything on the same 2 systems. I bought 3 ps3s mainly to watch blu rays and stream movies via dlna but between this and cinavia i won't be getting sony next generation.

Theres no "easy" way, I doubt. But isn't this the point of that deactivate PS3 thing? So you can deactivate a PS3 and get your slots back?
Guess you can try deactivating your third PS3 and see if your second PS3 can download the content that the third PS3 had access too. If that works I guess you'd have to deactive your second and third PS3s and pick and choose which content you want on them.
(Keep in mind I only have one PS3, and I've never used the deactivate feature on the sonyentertainmentnetwork.com site so I dont know if thats what deactivating does or.. what)

well i have 3, and there's definitely some content i want to be able to access on each ps3. i hate it when they start removing features as time goes on, one of the worst things about this generation being the first of the truly connected consoles.
oh well thanks for the confirmation guys!
