(Stupid Question) PS+ renewal

ok Guys so I decided to take Advantage of the 25% off the yearly Sub even though my Sub didn't run out till November but on my Games they Still show as Expiring on November is that Normal or has something Gone wrong with my 1 year Extension ??

noooo let me explain it's a little screwy

when you renew your ps plus subscription the first subscription will run out then it will start the new subscription you signed up for and when you play the title with the expiration date from ps plus ps plus will auto change the expiration date to a new date because it detects your ps plus status your ok and i know its screwy as heck

You make it sound weird (a year sub will change the year your stuff expires), but keep in mind the expiry date will only update on your games if you play the game (Had Just cause 2 "expire" till I tried to play it again then it updated to the new expire date.)
