160 Gb or 320 Gb ? that is the question.

As some of you may know i am looking to get a ps3 sometime in the near future so my question is ( as in the title ) is 160 Gb's enough or am i better off getting a 320 Gb console ( if i can find one at the right price ).

I actually think 160gb is good enough for your casual gamer. Go for 320 if you plan on buying alot of games and psn games. Those game updates do eat up your memory. Cod for example.

If you can spend the extra cash for the 320 you should do it, if you don't intend to keep lots of digital games and movies then go for the 160.

Maybe wait for a 320 bundle with a game or two..sometimes you can get instant credit for throwing the game or games back to them(depends where from). Extra memory to boot..that's what I did.

What's the price difference between the 160 and 320 at retail? 40 50 bucks?

    I paid 250 for my 320 5 games and 2 controllers

I have found an offer for a 320 gb scarlet red console with 2 controllers and mw3 for 249.00. Is that a good price ? I thought it was as the same site is selling a 320 gb black console also with 2 controllers and mw3 for 245.00.

Really depends how you use it.

If you plan to change HDD later, check the hybrids. (Advantage on size and speed.)

DO NOT sell your original PS3 harddrive. Keep it incase you have to send the system in to be repaired or refurbed because you;re not guaranteed to get your drive back.

As for the system itself no knowing the prices that the systems go for in the UK but knowing that it's usually a difference of about 50, If you really intend to support the system buying exclusive games and even the multiplat games as well. Just get the 320. you can fill the rest of the space in the time being with MP3s and what have you. I upgraded my 60gb PS3 to 320 gb and I have maybe 90gb left I have over 70 PSN games over a hundred on disc games with a moderate amount of DLC and about 9 gb of MP3s. If you;re only planning on using it to supplement your gaming like if you already have the "other" system then just get the 160 gb and you can upgrade it later with a new HDD for 50 or less if you shop smart.

or just buy the 320 GB. At the time I wanted a PS3 for Infamous 2, and I couldnt afford a Laptop HDD to upgrade or the 320 so I ended up getting a 160. I honestly regret it, It's not been that long and already I'm playing the space swapping game (Rarely buy PSN games, its PS+.. and game installs)

I've nearly filled up my 500GB which I never thought I would, so yeah 320GB wouldn't be enough for me.

320 isn't enough for me either (got a 160 right now), but everytime I go to buy a HDD something comes up that requires the money. Right now I can barely afford the games I got preordered, and it doesnt help my PC is having some issues. lol
