Fifa 13 Demo Sep 11

Isn't this demo supposed to be available today?

If anyone has it, I'd like to hear opinions.

It's on the 360, I'm about to play. It's not on the Vita store yet, and the PSN store doesn't have it in USA yet. I'll be posting videos in a little bit.

I dunno man, I'm not sure that this is awesome. The ball bounces about a lot like one of them rubber bouncey balls you used to have as a kid and one touch shooting is OP. There's a lot of clipping too when using LT and RT together.

I haven't noticed any problems with the ball. I'll have to get some footage uploaded and maybe you can point it out; maybe I don't understand the issue properly. Kinect, not sure if it's working or not lol. What am I allowed to do with it?

Maybe I'm just not yet used to it, but the ball seems to bobble about a lot for me. I'll give it more time. One touch shooting is overpowered though. 9/10 times I'll score from it inside the box. Maybe upping the difficulty fixes that but I'm not sure.

The clipping I'm talking about is when you are using close control with the ball and you allow the player to walk backwards with the ball or to the sides. The ball will go right through his legs, like he was a ghost. Not a big deal really but I can clearly see it on my huge TV and it does look kind of stupid lol.

I don't know. I just thought I heard it was supported. You would have had that Kinect screen at the beginning with the proper Kinect placement cartoon if it supported it.

Yeah, didn't see anything like that. Also, I tried saying just about everything, and ended up using profanity because it wasn't working. lol. It wasn't working.

Yeah there doesn't seem to be Kinect compatibility in the demo. I tried too.

It's basically the same game as FIFA 12, FIFA is getting a bit stale now, it's the new COD, it's the same every year, what your effectively paying for is updated kits.

I played the new PES demo on the other hand and it's a lot better than FIFA, the graphics are on another level and the gameplay is a lot better, also more realistic.

I will be going with PES this year. I like the FIFA demo but I didn't see much improvement from 2012. Besides, I love playing CL and PES does that very well.

Theres hardly any difference at all, it's the same old FIFA where you can only score certain types of goals from certain areas, there's none of the freedom that PES gives you.

I agree. PES plays a better single player game. The teams actually play like they do in real life. With FIFA, the CPU is always in attack mode and that's not the way the game is played.

Can we please at least keep this about FIFA and not about which game is better, etc., etc. It's more than welcome to talk about how you feel the game isnt any different, etc. It's not welcome, or permitted, to go into an off topic discussion about comparing it with other games.

It's available on the NA PSN btw. Not available on the Vita in NA yet.

You're right.. Lost my head for a second. I still will be getting FIFA but not at launch.

Fifa does tend to funnel you in to a certain way of playing. The way the game is scripted pushes you away from playing long forward passes through the air, so you are then forced in to playing short passes up the field and getting yourself in to the right angle to finesse shot the ball in the corner. So yes I'd agree that Fifa does play out a bit scripted.

The AI in Fifa has always been mince in my opinion.

I'm sold. It plays differently from Fifa12 and just feels...right. The last Fifa I got was 11 and only played it a handful of times with my old housemates. Had a blast playing this demo last hour or so with my brothers.

It feels quicker and sharper
