Do a connection test? I got a 14 MB connection and my PS3 gets 10 MB of it. When my downloads are slow I have to reboot my router/modem, that USUALLY fixes it. Are you in a "peak hour"? That could possibly be an issue as well

EDIT: FYI, I use my PS3 wireless. And the router and PS3 are in the same room

I really don't know why people have trouble with PSN downloads. My connection is 5mb and I get almost the same on ps3.

I get 1+ mb/s, same as what I get on steam. I really don't see why everyone moans about it.

Wireless is just terrible for large downloads, from what i experienced.

I was playing BF3 again and had to download patch over 1 GB, 20 minutes with wireless and not even 1 perfect was done...

Changed to wired and was done within 10 minutes.

If you have Infinity 1GB should take less time than 10 minutes.

you on the 76 or 40 package?

The PS3 speed tester is hite use this one it gives you a profile reading which tells you your absolute best speed possible. (I think it only works for BT customers)

Here is mine, I am on the 40 package so the profile is 38.7

    Xbox Live > PSN man.

    Haven't you heard?

    Sorry. was hard to resist.....

I download an 8gig game like RDR at around 3 hours. Not sure if that's a good indication of PSN or just slow NZ ISPs.

    Or both.
