Not really considering Beyonetta is not a popular game.If it had sold well no way would they make it exclusive to the Wii U when the PS3/360 offers more potential consumers.This game will sell as poorly as Madworld.

Maybe the story was average but not the game play. I still haven't seen a game with a better combo system, and that includes GOW too. It also has a 90 on metacritic so I wouldn't call that average. Smart move by Nintendo to get this game as a exclusive.

I haven't seen any attacks to the Playstation fanbase, just responses (both lighthearted and serious ones) to the people having fits (no matter what consoles they own). I've seen threads on NeoGaf, GameFAQs (not out of choice), here (obviously) and a few non-gaming sites.

I wouldn't be surprised if Nintendo fans had a go back at some people though. When Nintendo announce a game/console (well, any time actually), no matter what site or forum you go on (unless it's a 100% Nintendo fansite), it's pretty much impossible to ignore the "Nintendo are kiddy!", "no third party games", "no core games!" post being thrown around.

Now Nintendo go and revive a "core" game that was dead, giving people the chance to actually play a game that wouldn't exist otherwise, and what happens? Mass meltdowns on forums, meltdowns on Twitter big enough to start trending worldwide, death threats being sent to the company staff members, petitions being created, people saying they would rather the game stay dead than appearing on a Nintendo console...

"Nintendo consoles have no games I want to play!"
