Yeah its for the stupid obstacle course show...
And the WiiU is actually looking pretty decent. I may actually get one in a year or two, just have to wait and see what the games are gonna be like.
What turns me off MAJORLY is the shiny finish on the console/controller... My Vita and shiny Xbox360 get disgustingly dusty and capture ALL of the fingerprints.. I might wait for a matte finish :P

The pad seems to be a bit slow but it's not the final version. Thanks for the share.

I will be anxious to try it out. Will I buy it at launch? No. I bought into the "gimmick" hype of the Wii and the whole "motion" thing. Now it sits and collects dust. Maybe I am too old school, preferring a relaxing approach to games.

8 years and counting!

I also bought it to the Wii motion gimmick. But it was not the controls that kept me from playing the Wii, it was the horrid graphics.
I never tested the Wii before I bought it, I have tested the Wii U though. The tablet controller is legit and serves a much larger purpose than the motion controllers ever did.

Here is my quick first impression of the Wii U controller.
Right off the bat the controller feels really good. The screen looks fantastic and I was able to easily connect my AT&T cable and my LG tv to the Wii U tablet. Now I can control all 3 devices with this single controller. That is awesome!
There is also a HUGE update to do when you get it all going.
I will be making a full on review in the next few days.Last edited by Lethal_NFS; 11-18-2012 at 17:03.

What are the benefits of connecting your cable and tv to the Wii U controller. What do you mean you can control them with it, you can use it as the TV remote?
