I envy those who are major in math. A friend of mine forms his own theorems just for fun.

I love math. I'm currently taking calc 3 and enjoying it. It gets a lot easier when you get to higher level math imo. But you gotta teach yourself a lot of things. Some concepts take more time to drill in than others. Fun stuff though.

The official 'Do my math homework for me' thread

For me, Calc 2 was super easy. But I scraped by with a C because I was just lazy as all hell. The material just came to me, but I only did enough to understand it, not to master it.
Calc 3, on the other hand, is friggen nuts. I've only had 4 classes so far and I'm lost. Still have differential equations left to go as well

Don't think I ever passed math class, can't stand it, makes me think too much, lol.

I'm having trouble counting T-stops. It's different from f-stops. So if anyone knows this sorta thing, it would help me. Basically, one of the questions on my paper is:
If you go from 100 ISO to 400 ISO, how many stops is that?
or
125 ISO to 500 ISO, how many stops?Last edited by DreDayDetox; 09-17-2012 at 17:27.

Hmm. Our Linear and Diff EQ classes are seperate from out Calc class. For us its just vector calculus, with differential coming after and linear being optional. I heard our linear class is hard as fuck though because its mostly proofs, dunno if it actually involves real calculations cause I haven't attempted the class yet.
So far I'm finding vector calc pretty easy, its just my professor sucks so what he explains just sounds ridiculous. Although we only got to cross product so we didn't get very far in, which explains why its so easy lol.I once ate a dirty sock...don't tell anyone.

We literally spent only a month and a half on vector calc. And I was fucked from the beginning as I missed a few of the first classes that started it. I'm confident that had I been there for the beginnings of the section I would have gotten it, but in my entire math career, vector calc is the only thing that has gotten the better of me. Everything else usually came pretty naturally.

Jeez, a month and a half? I have three months haha. Guess thats cause I go to a community college though. I'm still concerned, but thats definitely encouraging if you spent a lot less time and did well. All of my friends would tell me it was so unbelievably difficult every day they had class (I was behind by a math class) that I came in hoping to just scrape by. Here's hoping I can do well then.
