I recycle paper and stuff. Also those CFL's the swirly ones are crap. They supposedly last way longer than a typical bulb. It lasted about two years that's it. That lamp isn't turned on a lot either. I could go days without turning it on.

I bet I know what happened. If you turn on a CFL lightbulb for less than 15 minutes, it cuts down the life of the bulb.

i used to recycle... we have 2 rubbish bins, one for regular rubbish, the other for recyclables. when my local council halved the size of my regular rubbish bin and upped my council rates i decided to fuck recycling. when my regular bin is full, i start to fill up the recycling bin.
i have to give credit to the companies who make money for practically nothing, (taking our trash and recycling for $$$) however with ridiculous council rates and tip fees, I think more and more people will do what I'm doing.

Btw i was today at an exposition which had plastic recycling as main subject and i was quiet impressed by how many plastic trash we throw to the water and how big is our effect on the environment.

lol I always laugh when I see those big "We have to save the world" signs. The planet will take care of itself, and always will. Our whole lives are spent fighting nature from overtaking, and destroying the world. Earth is more then capable of taking care of itself before and after we are here to "save" it.

Yeah, I live in a forest so I'm set. But again, acorns fall, trees are born, its a never ending machine that keeps everything in order. I ain't gonna waste money on a tree when I can just plant an acorn.
