Do you recycle any? Do you buy any sacks or anything that's recyclable? Finally, do you buy into being "Green"?
I do and it seems to save me money!
I replaced my stuff with energy star efficient electronics and even replaced my light bulbs with CFLs and I spend less!

Nope. I give my empty soda cans to people that do recycle.

I ride my bicycle EVERYWHERE and only drive my car about two times per month. Everyone seems so hung up on petroleum, yet are so vocal about its excessive cost. It's rather silly.
PS I live in a small rural city and can still commute by bicycle for 99.5% of my needs.

Not only do I recycle @ home, my business does practically everything. Glass, paper, cardboard, plastics and metals. Recycling metals throughout our work year also brings us thousands of $$ in tax free cash..bonus! I'm a very clean and organized person in general.

That's probably why you bike. You can get anywhere within minutes reach. Unlike me, I live in a big city. I need my car to commute, and I do complain about gas prices even though shouting will do nothing.small rural city

Same goes here, we have a red lid bin for normal rubbish and a yellow lid bin for recycling - which is 2x as large ad the red to encourage recycling. It's really good and I always recycle as much as possible, I don't see why anyone wouldn't when it's so easy and we have 2 bins, may as well use them

I use energy efficient light bulbs to save money on my light bill and I use my recycle bins.
Other than that not much I drive one fuel efficient car my other two cars are gas guzzlers and my next car isn't going to be fuel efficient as well but it will be fast lmao

I recycle whatever I can because my parents taught me, they have been recycling stuff since I was about 5 years old (maybe longer) back then it was mostly bottles.
Different coloured bins for different councils it seems in UK.
Brown = organinc waste such as grass, leaves, apples, left over food.
Green = Bottles cans and tins, plastics
Blue = Paper and cradboard
Black = everything else except batteries, bulbs, electrical

I recycle... sometimes.
My city has public transit which I use to get to college or anywhere that isn't within walking distance. But I don't really buy into being green and saving the Earth. We'll continue to bleed the planet dry, regardless.Last edited by Blacksite; 09-15-2012 at 06:47.

My local council back home has a recycling scheme. Black bins for general rubbish, brown bins for garden waste and red/black boxes for recycling.
Trophy-licious!

I recycle paper and stuff. Also those CFL's the swirly ones are crap. They supposedly last way longer than a typical bulb. It lasted about two years that's it. That lamp isn't turned on a lot either. I could go days without turning it on.

Unfortunately, I don't recycle.

Well instead of using the toilet, I like to take a shit in the woods.
