Filming began on the new 'RoboCop' film over the weekend, and some shots of the new suit on set were taken.
I'm like... "WTF!?", but I suppose we'll have to wait and see what more there is to offer.
Apparently in these shots he is in "SWAT" mode, as apparently the suit has different colours for different modes... What?

Reminds me too much of Batman. I mean, the actual design looks alright but why couldn't they stick with the original color scheme?

New robocop looks like he coud be more agile.
This was doing the rounds as the "new robocop" which looks quite similar yet with hindsight obviously fake.

Right 80's Robocop looked like he was Robotic
His arms his legs etc, looked separate parts placed on to the main body, the head looked like the only human part
This modern Robocop looks like he is wearing Batmans rubber suit
Though its obviously lighter for the actor, which was the problem with the original (too heavy)
But it was better
Bet he'll run and move like a acrobat

It looks like the Iron Man armor meshed with the Mass Effect armor Shepard wears, and with a little bit of Nolan Batman because of the black. So, no creative input whatsoever. I still wanna see the movie because of the all-star cast that's attached to it, but I'm not too fond of the suit..and changing colors? LOL reminds me of the post-Y2K spin-off Robocop movies that made it straight to video. The suit was like shiny and colorful under light conditions.

It did. They should slim down the suit from the original, and give it better shape and more curves. It can look modern and still maintain a knowing nod to the original.
