This is a Sony Computer Entertainment Japan press conference, so it's going to be all Japanese unless Kaz makes a surprise showing and says some things in English.

TGS 2012: You can watch Sony’s keynote live, though you may not understand it

There are onsite blogs that will translate. Eurogamer is one but from a few years of experience now, they must sit through large parts of the conference with their jaws dropped open. There are a few others. Easy thing to do is get a video stream, then have the live blog open in another tab.

Andrew House is there opening the show! Straight into new Super Slim SS PS3. House says they are half the weight and size of Slim. 500GB 299 EURO and 250GB 229 EURO.

So the super slims will practically cost the same but are just slimmer(And not really good looking). I can't see how they'll benefit from that(Maybe Japan will?). One thing I've seen so far is that they mentioned, Gaikai but I can't understand what they're saying @_@

You guys haven't missed much so far other then the reveal of the super slim PS3.

They are saying the SS PS3 looks a lot better on stage than the leaked photos. Generally, the Euro price is one for one with the dollar price, so the 250GB SS PS3 will release around $230. That means it will be retailing for $199 during the holidays.

The PS3 as a DVR is big in Japan. This conference is mainly for Japan.

The PSP dropped pricing for Japan with a new One Piece game.
