Kingdom hearts 2 shall be announced soon
Square Enix has hinted that Kingdom Hearts 2 may yet receive a high-definition makeover like its predecessor.
Speaking during an interview with Famitsu, Square’s Tetsuya Nomura was quizzed, “Is there gonna be a high-definition version of Kingdom Hearts II later?”
In response, the Final Fantasy series character designer stated, “It’d be unusual if there wasn’t,” before giving a cheeky smile.
The comments come following the announcement of the Kingdom Hearts 1.5 HD ReMix bundle, which includes the original Disney/Square RPG alongside Chain of Memories but curiously omits the PlayStation 2 sequel.

IGNIt looks like Kingdom Hearts II is set to join the first game in getting an HD remake, if comments from the game's director are to be believed.
In an interview with Famitsu (via Gematsu), Tetsuya Nomura strongly suggested that an HD remake would be announced following the decision to re-release the first game with supped-up graphics as Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 Remix.
When asked, "Is there gonna be a high-definition version of Kingdom Hearts II later?" he responded with a wry smile and the words, "It’d be unusual if there wasn’t."

http://gematsu.com/2012/10/nomura-ta...ix-developmentAccording to Nomura, development on Kingdom Hearts 1.5 HD Remix, Square Enix’s upcoming HD remaster of Kingdom Hearts: Final Mix and Kingdom Hearts Re: Chain of Memories announced at this year’s Tokyo Game Show, was decided before Final Fantasy X HD, which has kept quiet since its Tokyo Game Show 2011 announcement.
The HD work on Kingdom Hearts 1.5 HD Remix was done by the hard work of two programmers from Square Enix’s Osaka team over the course of a year. The Osaka team is basically unchanged, and it’s thanks to them that Kingdom Hearts has continued to progress. Kingdom Hearts 1.5 HD Remix‘s development is in its final stages.
In addition to two games, Kingdom Hearts 1.5 HD Remix also includes high-definition cutscenes from Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days. This totals in at about two to three hours of cutscenes, according to Nomura.
Back to the games, camera function has been modified to be based on Kingdom Hearts II‘s. And don’t expect a secret movie when you beat them. Nomura says there won’t be one.
