As for my opinion, I think it's a very solid album except for a few songs ('Carpe Diem', 'Kill The DJ', and 'Oh Love'). The rest of the songs are extremely catchy and Green Day goes back to a more care-free direction with this album. The guitar work is also the best they've ever done, which isn't saying much, but I'll take it.

I find 'Carpe Diem' and 'Kill The DJ' to have annoying choruses though, and 'Oh Love' is just boring.

Yeah, that seems to be the response from most listeners. It's nothing special. Just some well done Pop Rock.

Can't say I'm in love with it but it'd not bad. No complaints from me but not as fantastic as some of their earlier stuff
