That was literally me two nights ago. I woke up in the middle of the night and randomly pulled it. Oh teh pain you get...unreal.

I used to get them constantly and to both legs at the same time! And as the cherry on top I was sleeping in a bunk bed. Seriously you cannot do anything at that moment but punch the wall and try your best not to scream like a madman

Same. I remember getting them often, by even stretching my leg muscles just even a little bit. Sometimes I could save myself, but most times not. I feel screaming when it happens.
