On topic.. If it can manage Dx11 like graphics then great!. I am eager to see developers take full advantage of the hardware. I'm sure that Dice and Crytek won't hold back.

It doesn't have DX11. This article is only saying it can produce graphics equivalent to DX11. The Unity Engine works with shader model 4, but it will not be as good as model 5.

I highly doubt the Wii U is capable of producing graphics equivalent to DX11 without out supporting DX11.

Plus you gotta remember its need the CPU to back it up, which frankly the Wii U hasn't

I dont think we see much of a jump in wii u game's over time unlike ps3 and 360, expect by Nintendo.

Exactly. It's impossible as DirectX 11 features are not available in DirectX 10.1. Real-Time Ray-Tracing/Ray-Casting and Tessellation are three technologies of many.

Where do you get this? I can't find any details about the CPU. From what I gather it's a 3GHz quadcore POWER7 chip, which sounds pretty good. But the general consensus seems to be that the CPU is weak, so I'm wondering if there is some source which I can't find with a details breakdown of the CPU?

There are no official specs released by nintendo themselves but we'll know soon enough as soon as it released someone will take it apart and provide all the details lol
