Shame Vita doesn't come with the PS3 then! Only 2 million people can enjoy such tech for the time being. Will be interesting to see how they both get used in the future (Vita & Wii U pad).

NA didn't get a price since no games will utilize 2 gamepads yet....I expect nintendo to do what they did with the wii mote motion plus and when they release it in america they package a game with the gamepad

Well zombi U only uses one gamepad so I would expect it to come with a Wii Sport title for Wii U. Kinda like back in the N64 era they release DK64 with the ram pak for more memory and starfox with the rumble pak..

Seriously though, if Sony made Remote Play compatible across all PS3 games, I'd have a Vita right now.

The vita doesn't interact with the big screen its just cross play the Wii U gamepad does a lot more than the Vita to PS3 setup...

I think theres better chance for full interaction with the PS4, unless they decide to release it in 2014, I don't see them spending time and resources to bring it to PS3

I definitely agree with you there bro. If the PS4 takes advantage of cloud gaming cross play with the vita would be a great idea for gamers since the vita is a portable console and the gamepad is not. Hopefully sony is smart and uses resources towards the ps4 to interact with the vita. The thought of the possibilities is amazing to me.

Uh I haven't played Nintendo since N64 and never owned a 360 or xbox. I have 3 PS3s two PSPs and a Vita although I gave 1 PSP to my brother when I upgraded to the PSPGO. Point is I have owned PS, PS2, PS3, PSP, and Vita. I'm a HUGE playstation supporter because I fell in love with the exclusive games and the quality and support I have always received from Sony and all their products from Walkman to my TVs and all my other electronics. Fact is the reason I'm a Playstation supporter is because of the GAMES!!! But lets get real....it can't play Mario and there are probably at least 40-50 million people who will buy one just for that game alone....including probably 20 million japanese. My wife keeps begging for a wii but I refuse to get her one for one single game....or mario karting as well. And I am far from uneducated...I don't care what he is saying about the functionality...and even so there will be features that Nintendo creatively always have that is outside the box (better or for worse) that won't be supported by PS3-Vita. What I am saying....is its about the games....always has been...its why so many people buy these consoles....its also why nintendo dropped off so hard too...because they don't have the game support on the Wii like when it first released....if they did it would still sell. Its why they sell like billions of DSs and so on....to say the PS3-Vita will be able to do what WII U will be able to do is a very insulting thing for him to say...and very naive perspective from Sony. They misjudged and short sold Nintendo and underestimated them this gen....will they make the same mistake next gen with this attitude...I hope not.....I hope they have a better game plan and build a truely innovative console of their own.

By "uneducated" I meant your blank statement that made it SEEM like you didn't read the article and posted strictly based on the thread title. I wasn't making a comment on your actual level of education so I do apologize for this if you felt insulted by it.

And his statement about functionality is what this thread IS about so going off talking about software is kind of derailing it.
