I've been getting a few notifications for PM (not via the popup but a number when you hover/click o the 'Profile' button) but after going to the Inbox there aren't any new or unread items.
Is this a known issue or just something that's happening to me?
I'm usually using Chrome wherever I browse the forums fyi.

I noticed when you receive +rep it shows in your inbox and in the notifications but when the inbox is empty.
Check you control panel to see if you got any +rep lately.
