Final Fantasy Type-0 & Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep Final Mix Become Ultimate Hits

Square Enix has their own line of budget re-releases in Japan dubbed Ultimate Hits (opposed to Eternal Hits from Taito). Final Fantasy Type-0 which came out in Japan for PSP last October will be a 2,940 yen ($37) game with a silver stripe on the side starting December 6.


Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep, Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep Final Mix, and the Dragon Quest: Rocket Slime game for Nintendo 3DS will also join the Ultimate Hits lineup. Each title, just like Final Fantasy Type-0, is 2,940 yen ($37).

I just wished they'd bring type-0 soon. Don't know why a western version's not released yet but an ultimate hit version for japan is out..

I'd just like to add that I usually hate platinum, gratest hits, classics, essentials etc etc crap. But these look pretty classy

Type-0 has a digital version but it's pretty expensive.

Also its quite weird in Japan, Square Enix doesn't use 'the best' tag (equivalent of Greatest Hits/Platinum from Sony), they use their own 'Ultimate Hits' tag instead which has looked exactly the same since PS1:



But so long as the game is reduced, so we should see these games in the top 20 chart again.

I dug around a bit and apparently, Disney has distribution rights so they're the ones who are most likely against digitally distributing the Kingdom Hearts franchise.

Nothing is stopping, SquareEnix from releasing Type-0 though. A Vita re-release would be fantastic! Just as long as they release it sooner though.

Yeah I think SE said themselves back when BbS was about to be released Disney didn't want it digital. Quite odd really seeing as how they've got more PS1/2 Classics than any other company on the PS Store.

Yeah that makes no sense whatsoever. I guess they don't like making money off of something that will sell. I don't get it at all...
