via VG247.Square Enix has released a playthrough showcasing Hitman: Absolution’s new multiplayer mode. The 18-minute Contracts video includes commentary from game director Tore Blystad and Travis Barbour, who are part of the community team at IO Interactive.
Contracts is an online mode that allows players to create and share challenges with their friends. Although the developers were tempted to go with traditional multiplayer, they decided to implement something that fits into the Hitman series more readily.
Players will choose a level, target, weapons and then create their own rules for each objective. Scores are based on time, style and the amount of witnesses.
Check out the gameplay video below:
Hitman: Absolution will be with us on November 20 for PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

Controls and camera look smooth, which makes things much better.
Wish they had a more detailed animation when he's disguising with people's clothes but whatever.Praise the lord! Next stop: Ni No Kuni.

This is kind of daunting to me. I bet this will get really competitive with people trying to max out points they get. I feel like I would have to study the levels and play through several times to make the hit absolutely perfect....I love it!

Yea I see the intensity there and they really did step up with their map design and AI as well but that hit was way too easy...was not remotely realistic. Especially after he kills the guy...now that would work if he was in a crowd full of people but he just waltz out of there and no one found him suspicious after a guy was just shot lol.
