I got a problem with my ps3 when it in standby mode if i press the PS button on my controller it switchs the ps3 on but the 4 light on the controller keep on flashing and i cant use it unless i switch the ps3 off, so i have to press the power button on the ps3 then the PS button on my controller that the only way it works its a 250GB slim, any one no y it happens i bought it brand new and i dont no when it first started having this problem it doesn't bother me to much but when i come to selling it to help to buy the Ps4 i dont really wanna sell a ps3 thats got a problem
anyone no away it can be fixed or y it does it would be helpful thanks >^,.:.,^<

Did you try re-syncing the controller?

All you had to do was hook a usb into the ps3 and remote as if you were charging it...:/
