Why Assassins Creed 3 Xbox 360 is shipping on two discs

Just to make something clear before, there's nothing wrong with the PS3 version, it even has more content (for the SP).

I found it an insult to claim someone has an illness if they buy the 360 version. I mean what is that?

I'd think that by now, this is the 5th AC game on console... that the vast majority of people, exclusive content/dlc crap or whatever will probably just be buying it for the system that they played the rest on... I have AC,II,B and R all on PS3 so even if the 360 version had exclusive stuff I'd still buy PS3 because thats what I own the other four on!
Lets face it whatever the timed DLC is it won't make a difference in the grand scheme of things, content like that is never really meaningful to the game as a whole.

yeah for some games that have had it in the past they were nothing special. Hell even AC:B, I never even bothered to put the code in (or download it from the store I forget how they did it)

Whoops. I think you misunderstood me. I was talking from my own perspective

I have mild OCD so I was speaking to myself, in that, perhaps I'll get the 360 version as I've gotten all the others on 360 but the extra mission and lead platform has convinced me to most likely get the ps3 one.

I have to say though, it felt weird playing it on a PS3 controller over the weekend . Will take some getting used to
