It seems like a majority of the Saints Row fanbase didn't like the game. Putting aside the usual complaints of the mission structure being more linear and that there wasn't as much attitude in the game as its predecessor, Saints Row: The Third still ended up being a very fun open world experience. I'm wondering if anyone else felt the same.
The game had a free weekend/66-percent off deal a while back on Steam which is why I even bothered to try it out. And yes, I realize there are giant purple $#@!s and silly outfits in the game but I have yet to take advantage of that stuff. My only real complaint is that once you buy all of the upgrades, the challenges become too easy, specifically the Survival diversions.
